It has been a crazy summer

I have been busy fundraising and resting. I know the last part there might seem odd since I should be training. Well...a couple of weeks back on one of our hikes, the dirt snake bit me and I went down with a sprained ankle. So wanting to be able to complete my hike in September, I thought it best to rest the ankle and take a break from the hiking.

This week I am ready to get back on the trial and will be working hard. I have been strengthing it at the gym by doing some low impact exercises and trying to keep my endurance up.

I have also been busy fundraising. In the past two weeks I have raised over $300 doing bucket drives at a grocery store, video store and most recently at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
